My Teaching Philosophy is that each Person can learn individually by the environment surrounding him, but some times they struggle to get the point, and that's when the teachers role comes handy.
Teachers are like helping tools whenever students find difficulty they can go back to their teacher for support.
Me as a Teacher I believe in letting learners try and discover by themselves and to achieve that I encourage my students to search and be the person that's in control, however when I see a student struggling I would offer help and try to clear up the subject and depending on the level he is stuck on.
The Support the teacher provide is called Scaffolding, which means the teacher should present support when needed only and whenever students get the point the role of the teacher starts to fade away slowly by letting the student work independently.
As Lev Vygotsky said: Scaffolding is '' Changing the level of support to meet the ability of the child''.
Example: Just like claiming stairs for the more able students you would let them climb it all the way up alone to make it challenging and fun, for the MA students you would module how to climb and them let them try it, and when it comes to the LA students you will module climbing the stairs and then you would hold their hands half way throw when they climb and the let them go by them self.
